Left Lane Ends

Hi young people,

This week was super fun, on Monday we had Zone Pday! We played some butter, baseball, and volleyball. We also did a white elephant gift exchange and had lots of Hot Cocoa and popcorn. It was a lot of fun to hang out with the whole Zone, we have a great one! Monday evening we went out with Brother Woolard. We taught Tony about temples and he's excited for his baptism!work with

Tuesday we had interviews with President which were good as usual. President Seitz is very funny and fun to work with. In the evening we went out with Alex Millstead, ate In-n-out for dinner and then went to Fate to stop by some people. Nobody answered for over and hour, and it was getting time for our lesson with Jack. We knew we had been inspired to come to Fate so we decided to hit the last person we had in our schedule and then head to Jack. And that person didn't answer either.
Jk they answered and it was an older couple. They had been praying for help, the wife was a member and super sick and wanted a Priesthood blessing. So we gave her one and talked with then for a bit which was awesome. They were super grateful.

After that we went and taught Jack which was super fun as usual. He and his fellowshipper Victoria are definitely dating, they hang out almost every day haha--but the lesson went pretty well! After that we drove out to Rowlett to stay the night and do exchanges there.

Wednesday was fun, it was park your car day but it was 70⁰ and cloudy so it was beautiful! I love Rowlett it's an awesome city. I went on exchanges with Elder Dawe and he's super funny. We had a great time talking about various things that had changed since we were both DLs in Plano. It was a super fun exchange. We did some service at a run-down food Pantry which was cool. I got to give out 8 onions to each person haha--some of them slightly moldy. It was super funny to just plop onions in people's carts as they go by, we also got to talk with some service missionaries which was fun!

After service we had some stopbys to do and Elder Sauer was borrowing my bike so we decided to just walk. It was soo fun! It was a beautiful day and Rowlett is such a cute little town. We just walked around and stopped by people for 2 hours and we talked the whole time. Elder Dawe is so fun to talk to he has so many interesting insights. Nobody answered but we ran into some cool people as we went, and got some people's number! We finally got on the subject of food and then pizza and it was just in time for dinner which coincidentally was pizza!

In the evening we went out with one of their members, and stopped by a bunch of people. Unfortunately for me that area is a Spanish area so all of our contacts and lessons were in Spanish haha--but it was nice to not have to say anything for once, I feel like I talk too much haha
After our night we exchanged back and then drove back to Rockwall.

Thursday was great we did service at the Thrift store as usual and there were SO MANY electronics to test haha--it was super fun. It's honestly the best service ever cause we get to test all sorts of weird things and take batteries in and out of things and plug things in. It's fun to try and figure out how some of the stuff works. We get everything from massagers to kitchen appliances to projectors and fog machines. It doesn't even feel like service I would probably just do this for fun haha

After service and In-n-out we had District Council and then our Zone Call. It was fun we trained on Daily Planning and had a great discussion about coordinating with our ward councils. We went to Bishop's for dinner and had an infuriating experience which made our whole night so much fun cause we just debunked everything Bishop said all night! :) Elder Sauer is so much fun to work with there's never a boring moment!

Friday was fun we did weekly planning and ate Roadhouse for dinner. Our ride for the night canceled so we frantically started calling every single member we could. Miraculously this YSA from McKinney could take us out haha--so he drove all the way down here and then we added insult to injury to his gas tank cause we went out to Quinlan which is another 30 minutes away from us haha
We taught some people and stopped by people in Quinlan which us basically the middle of nowhere--so the stars were super bright! It was a blast, we got to drive on lots of adventurous dirt roads :))
After the shenanigans in Quinlan we went and taught Jack about temples! It was super cool, hes never been so engaged in a lesson. And the spirt was super strong too.

Saturday was fun we went to Helping Hands again, and did our studies and had a bunch of meetings. We also grabbed some Sparkling White Grape Cocktail so we could celebrate the new year. We weren't allowed to go out in the evening so we ate Hot Chocolate and Pizza and did Facebook work and made a bunch of calls. We also checked everyone's Area Books which is always fun. Jack called us cause hes going through some hard times so it was cool he thought to call us! He's considering a mission after he gets baptized.

Sunday was great, the Heath ward meets at 9 now and the YSA Branch meets at 1:30. We had a fun potluck after the YSA which was awesome. I love getting to know everyone here, it's refreshing to be working with people my own age.
In the evening we went out with Abe which was fun!
