The Fretful Porpentine

Hello everyone! This was a crazy week, so much happened! I will probably miss a lot buy here we go,

Tuesday was good! We did some service for Lorna, and then I popped my tire on the way home haha--luckily we had a lesson with a lady named Paulita and a member was taking us to that, so we were able to get a new tube when we did that. The lesson was great, Paulita is really cool! She is really excited to read in the Book of Mormon and come to church.

In the afternoon we had interviews, which were great! President Seitz is one of my favorite people, and he had lots of good advice. After interviews, I went on exchanges with Elder Layton. Brother Yanelli drove us home, and he's such a funny guy. His theory is that when the Holy Ghost gets His body the first thing he will eat is a toasted PB and J sandwich haha

Elder Layton and I had a great exchange, Wednesday morning we had a super in-depth comp study about many topics which was super fun. In the afternoon we exchanged back, and had some companionship calls which seemed to go really well. Biking is really fun now that it's cooling down, it was the perfect temperature all day while we were stopping by people!

Thursday we had service at Minnie's as usual at 10:30, but we had a Facebook meeting at 10 and it takes 30 minutes to bike to Minnie's. So we decided to hop on the meeting while we biked! And it was pretty fun, we were able to hear and everything so it worked. That evening we had a lesson with Audrey, and we had Brother Allred come with us. It turned out he was the perfect person for her, they related on a lot of stuff, and he and his wife are going to help her with her nonprofit! They will be getting together with her even when we aren't there, which is ideal!

On Friday we went on exchanges with Plano 6, so I was with Elder Woodson in Plano 10. It was a great exchange, I got to know him really well, and we were able to get a lot done. He's going through the usual new missionary hardships, so it was good to have a heart to heart with him. We had a great lesson with Eleanor about commandments that evening, and she seemed to like it a lot!

Saturday we got up early and went to set up Bebe's baptism. We had a full chapel of people show up, it was awesome! The Baptism went really well, and afterwards we had crepes at the Spark's house. Conference was super good, Paulita listened to it while driving clients around so they heard it too! We were also able to watch it at the Balley's house with Melissa and Linda! Overall the weekend was awesome, and I don't have time to put all my thoughts on Conference in here, so hopefully you listened to it yourself!
