Ho ho ho

Hi everyone, at the end of this email yall shall know where I'm headed next. :)

This week was crazy

Monday we went to Shreveport for Zone pday and on the way we ate with the Queen City Elders at a Cajun Restaurant in downtown Shreve called the Blind Tiger!! It was sooo good, I got this super good smoked catfish dish. It was fun parking in Shreveport, there was no guaruntee our car would still be there when we returned haha

Tuesday was good, we had our last district council of the transfer, which means we got to do false prophecies! On our way home from District Coucil we got a surprise call asking if we could help an inactive member move. So we rushed over and helped load up a bunch of stuff and then we dropped it off at their apartment. There was definitely some heavy tension between the Mother and daughter haha--they did not like each other very much. Don't let your relationship with your parents carry into your middle-age, it does not look fun!

On Wednesday we did a lot of street contacting, and found 7 elect people to teach! It was so much fun. One of the ladies we talked to said she always see us walking by and she always has wondered what we are about! Everyone we found was clearly interested, and it was also very encouraging to us cause we had a goal to find 15 people this week, and before Wednesday we had only found 1. We thought maybe we'd already found everyone in New Boston haha

Thursday we did weekly planning, and found 5 new people to teach! Elder Maisey and I each found someone on Facebook, and we also found a transgender person. It was very interesting talking to him, he's super elect. It's going to be interesting to see where that goes.
In the evening Brother Bush took us out to do lessons and stopbys. We went to teach JJ (one of our on date people) and his cousin told us, "this needs to stop" and we were very confused. We inquired more and she said JJ doesn't want us coming back, sorry. We were shocked. Ad she was talking with us she kept glancing furtively over, so we suspect JJ was in the room, he just didn't want to confront us. It was so weird cause we had stopped by on Wednesday and he had seemed happy to set up a lesson for Thursday!

After that we stopped by some other people, and taught a few awesome lessons with Brother Bush! Then he drove us to his house and we had some amazing pizza!

Friday was super fun! We had an awesome lesson with someone we have on date in the morning with D'asia. Then later in the day we stopped by a girl named Tasha. She's been in and out of the hospital, so we decided to teach her about Priesthood, then we offered her a Priesthood blessing and she accepted! We gave her one and she said she already felt better afterwards. Then we put her on date for baptism of course. :)
It was a cool miracle for sure.

On Saturday we went to Stephen's wedding at the church and it was super good! Also fun fact in the state of Texas as an Elder I can marry two people together. ;) So now I might go on a rampage marrying people who don't want to be married and reaping havoc hehehe
Later in the evening we found a few new people to teach and I found someone on Facebook!

Sunday was fun, but I'm going to skip to the chase. Elder Maisey predicted he would be training a new missionary, but we got no call from president all day (he usually calls to warn you). Then at about 8:55 he called haha--we got transfer news at 9:40 and Elder Maisey is staying in New Boston and training and I'm going to DLT in Plano 10! I'm very nervous haha, but it should be exciting! Sorry I don't have time to put any more details in here, I have a lot to do.
